I work to create exhibits and active collections that advocate for underserved and misrepresented communities within the museum setting. I ensure that marginalized communities, particularly Indigenous communities, see themselves accurately represented and given appropriate voice within cultural institutions.

A Bit About Me
As an emerging museum professional, I am interested in work in the realm of collections care and management as well as curatorial/exhibition work. I have dedicated the past four years of my undergraduate studies, and two years of my graduate studies, to gaining skills in these and related topics. I am proficient in database management, collections care and management, preventive conservation, research, exhibit planning and design, archaeology, as well as many other valuable skills. My career goal is to expand my knowledge through highly impactful, didactic, and hands-on experiences resulting in continued professional growth. With this in mind, my professional goal is to work with my future institution to engage the community at large.
Vision
I will be a respected activist in the museum field, pioneering a path to better management and repatriation of cultural objects. My work will advance the swift and appropriate return of cultural property to the communities to which they belong.
Values
Diversity: I will ensure that my institution fosters diversity both within their staff as well as amongst their visitors. I will make it my goal to improve, or create, a plan to increase diversity.

Inclusion: I will work to ensure that misrepresented communities have a stake in how their stories are shared. Museums should seek to incorporate the voices of the communities which they serve, and I aim to help make these necessary changes to my institution.

Lifelong Learning: Lifelong learning allows for constant improvement in patterns of thinking and behavior, thus allowing for advancement in my work. I will strive to continuously learn and refine my knowledge and skills to improve my productivity for my institution.
